So it is the 1st of a month...and like I have been doing regularly for the last few months, I AM STOPPING SMOKING. This time B decided to join me....I do not know what possessed us to think that we would survive doing this together. It is bad enough that you have two "Scorpios" living under the same roof....
By mid morning, my B had already buckled....so on top of the Chinese Ginseng in action, came that nicotine kick of his first ciggie in the morning. i think that the only this that bought B off his magic carpet was the whining of the growling, stressed, nicotine deprived, growing PMS psycho...otherwise known as "THE WIFE". You can almost hear the whistling thru the teeth of the good, bad and ugly in the desert...question is "Who draws first blood?"
On top of the "No Smoking", I have attempted to control my eating habits as well...Stupidity in Capital Letters. By the end of the day, I was gnawing away at the edge of my desk...I frightened my staff when I cried out "Feed me Seymour, Feed me...."
Luckily I raced home..made some pasta and fish for supper....now I feel much better..

I am almost at the end of Day 1...and I have taken strain today. I cannot wait to go to sleep and wake up and say "Another one bites the Dust" as I tackle another day on being "A Non-Smoker". There is no way, I am going to pick myself off a hospital bed, holding in my fatal caeser cut...drag my drip..and go and stand in the rain outside in the hospital steel staircase for a "drag of nicotine"..hell no..I have got alot more pride than that. Be gone, nicotine...be gone
